Sculpture Park "Legend" is a collection of sculptures in the open air. It is the pride of the Center for Contemporary Art in Penza that also includes art galleries, artists studios and the museum of modern art. This Park is the largest in Russia and one of the largest in the world. The number of sculptures, the prominence of the sculptors names and participating countries, can only be compared with a Changchun World Sculpture Park. At the moment in the Sculpture Park "Legend" in Penza there are 275 unique works of marble, granite, wood, metal, bronze, created by 178 sculptors from 59 countries. The scale and value of the sculpture Park "Legend", as an important cultural object of the country is appreciated by many famous cultural persons in Russia, Europe and USA. The creaton of Park "Legend” was accorded to the festival of contemporary art in 2012, the festival in its turn was granted the auspices of UNESCO. Sculpture Park "Legend" is annually attended by more than 30 thousand people from all over the world.
